Emily can care for
Availability
I recently started working at the North Valley Food Bank in Whitefish, so I have limited availability on Mondays and Wednesdays. I love house sitting so your pet's comfortable in their home and I can take them out as much as they want. Otherwise my schedule is fairly flexible so I can stop by throughout the day!

Unfortunately I can't host sleepovers at my home, but I treat any house I'm watching as my own. I make sure the pet(s) and I stay in the right rooms and I always clean up after myself so your home is ready for you when you return!
Information Emily R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, like allergies, meds, or supplements. Also let me know if there's any behaviors you're working on, like no jumping on people, or if there's any part of the house or furniture they're not allowed in. Please also let me know if they're extra sensitive to heat/cold or noise like thunder or fireworks, or if they have any special mealtime or bedtime routines!
A typical day
I love to hang out with your pet, whether we're playing, going on a walk, or just reading on the couch. I know pets can get lonely and miss their people, so I want to keep them entertained and feeling loved. I spend most of the day at your house and usually go home in the afternoon or evening to keep up with housework and see my kitty and fiancé.

Gerbils to Mastiffs I love them all
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, a gerbil, and horses. Besides my childhood pets, I've cared for a wide range of fur babies over the past 15+ years, from a Mastiff to hairless guinea pigs to lizards! I have a huge soft-spot for seniors, I cared for my senior kitty and 2 senior horses until it was their time to cross the rainbow bridge. It's important to me to give our pets the best golden years possible! I'm comfortable giving meds to cats and dogs, including insulin, vitamin B12, and allergy shots. In December 2025, I took a Pet First Aid & K9 CPR class at FVCC to make sure I have the skills and knowledge needed to keep your furbaby happy, healthy, and safe! I also have pet-sitting insurance to help give peace of mind while you're away.

Reviews
You won't find anyone any better than Emily!!! Emily has been my ongoing pet sitter for three and a half months when I have had to work out of town. Emily has never failed to provide excellent service. She provides fun reports and pictures of the pet antics and behaviors, has an "intuituve feel" for the pets needs and personalities, and has great communication skills. She is friendly and personable, always leaves the home neater than when she got there, and provides other acts of kindness and consideration like bringing in mail and packages and leaving porch lights on for you if you are arriving home after dark. On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the high score, I give Emily a twenty!

Emily was great! She spent extra time with my kitty and was great about providing pictures and updates.

Emily was fabulous with our 10 month old golden retriever, providing drop in visits, playtime & midday feeding to assist the house sitter we had during a week long vacation away from home. We received many pictures and updates from her after every visit while cruising the Caribbean! I’ve already got her booked for house/pet sitting again soon. She has so much experience from guinea pigs to horses and everything in between, I would HIGHLY recommend Emily to care for your pets.
Emily has been my "home manager" on an ongoing basis each week when I am working out of town. She not only provides exemplary care to my eleven Guinea pigs, she also thoughtfully brings in the mail and any packages received in my absence. The house is always in neat and clean condition when I arrive back home. Emily is friendly and personable, professional, communicates clearly, asks good questions, and lets me know if there is any change in any of my pets behaviors. It has been such a blessing to me to be able to leave home knowing my animals and home will be well cared for in my absence. I most highly recommend Emily!!!
