I’ve grown up with three dogs and have been caring for them since I was a kid, including training puppies and managing their daily routines. I started watching other people’s dogs at age ten and have experience with a wide range of care needs—everything from administering medication to giving baths, walks, and plenty of love and attention. I’m super flexible and always aim to meet both the family’s and the dog’s unique needs to make sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for.

The absolute best! They have such a great set up with a fenced in yard and catered to my dogs habits at home. We have only had our dog back for one day after staying a week with Emily and he wants to go back :)
Emily has been an incredible dog sitter for our family—she’s cared for all three of our dogs over the years, both in our home and at hers. Her level of care is exceptional. She communicates regularly, sends us updates and the sweetest photos, which always puts our minds at ease while we’re away. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work mornings as a preschool teacher, so I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends—and I have summers completely off, which gives me even more flexibility. I’m home the rest of the day, and my husband works from home at least once a week, so your pet will rarely be alone. We already take our own dog on daily (sometimes twice-daily) walks, so adding extra paws to our routine is a joy, not a chore.

In our home, dogs are treated like family. We have a two-year-old Golden Retriever who is incredibly social, affectionate, and loves making new friends—both human and furry. Our space is set up with comfort and safety in mind: a fully fenced yard for playtime, home security cameras for peace of mind when we’re out, and three bedrooms plus two cozy, dog-friendly couches. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable. We’ve dog-proofed key areas—our garbage is in a pull-out cabinet, and we can fully close off the kitchen if needed. Whether your dog needs one meal or four, extra walks or cuddle time, we’re happy to accommodate. Our goal is to make sure your dog feels at home and you feel completely at ease while you’re away.

A typical day
Beyond daily walks, I love keeping dogs happy, active, and mentally stimulated with a variety of fun activities! For water-loving pups, we have a doggy pool and a sprinkler in the yard where they can splash and play to their heart’s content. I also offer tasty enrichment treats like frozen carrots, celery, and stuffed Kongs to keep them busy and satisfied. For mental stimulation, I rotate fun games like hide and seek, kibble-wrapped puzzles, play mats, and slow feeders to keep their minds engaged. And for dogs who enjoy a little adventure, I’m happy to take them along for a car ride to grab a pup cup—it’s always a hit!
