I live on my own with no pets and a secure back garden with artificial grass. I am familiar with lots of local walking paths as well as the canal and secure fields. I am also willing to travel or share my knowledge of quieter walking paths for more nervous dogs. I am adaptable to a pets routine so once understood I can ensure your pet is comfortable in their own environment.

My main focus is understanding your pets personality, what they like to do and what makes them most happy and comfortable. Whether that's playing an endless game of catch, long walks with lots of stimulation or quiet strolls in a secure field, I can adapt to the needs of the pet with ease.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of friends and family pets regularly since leaving university in 2020, especially cats and dogs. I regularly look after my best friends 10 year old dog who has sight and sound problems where my main goal is to make sure he's comfortable and feels safe. I have also dog-sat 2 rescued (and so nervous) greyhounds, and 3 year old and 12 year old Labradors at the same time who have differing needs and requirements. I also look after 2 very active collies who enjoy long walks and runs around the garden.

Emily has regularly looked after my rescue dog since we adopted him 2 years ago. She has never ending patience and love for him and has helped him change from a shy, anxious rescue to a loving and outgoing family pet. Chip loves spending time with Emily and wags his tail whenever he hears her car outside. The best pet sitter/dog walker we could ask for!
My athletic greyhound loves his visits from Emily, they are both always excited to see each other! Spending an afternoon roaming the hills of northern England before settling down together for a cuddle on the sofa. As a pawrent to a retired racing greyhound it's great to see him be a proper dog with people and Emily helps him do just that. 10/10 would recommend.
