I’ve grown up with lots of pets and I grew up with 2 gorgeous chocolate labs. I would love to look after your pooches while you’re away, simultaneously giving your dog the care they need whilst also getting my dog fix!! Lots of snuggles and attention will be given!

Emily and Dickie looked after my Dalmatian Oddie for me and gave him the absolute best time. He has been treated like a king! It was such a weight off my shoulders knowing that he was happy and being looked after so well. I loved having photos and videos sent of him while I was away. Emily and Dickie are both so lovely. Even with me moving quite a distance away soon I would 100% choose Emily and Dickie again. Thank you to you both again I am so greatful!
5🌟 plus Honey has had the most amazing weekend, not only was she walked, cuddled and loved to bits, she also travelled to Milton Keynes to join in the family Mother’s Day celebrations, really has been treated like a princess all weekend, so many lovely photos of her also so I was able to see how she was enjoying her weekend away. Honey loves attention and can get separation anxiety, Emily was a superstar in giving so much reassurance and Honey soon settled and enjoyed her play date also with Lottie the beautiful cocker puppy to start off her stay, she really has had the most wonderful time x
Amazing, I could not have asked for more. My dog is a bit nervous and Emily and her boyfriend treated him like their own. He got so many snuggles and walks. I know as I got lots of lovely pictures during his stay! I think he may like her more than me now!! Thank you and I would definitely use Emily again x
Emily is as fantastic with Bracken, looking after a young puppy is never easy and Emily handled it like a dream. Constant updated and videos to set your mind at ease and easy communication, he’ll be back!
Emily is amazing. It was Tilly’s first time staying with someone she didn’t know and she settled in like a dream. Emily looked after her as if Tilly was her own dog to the point where Tilly didn’t want to come home. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone that wants to know their dog will be looked after while they’re away

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher so my schedule is mostly school holidays and occasional weekends. During your dog’s stay, I will happily take them for regular walks and anything else they require as part of their day to day routine.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a small fenced in garden, and lots of lovely local walks. Owners can bring the dog’s familiar bed / crate as a taster of home as well as any bowls, toys or accessories which make them feel at ease! Floors are a mixture of wood and carpet. We don’t have any pets so your pooch can have a pampered bit of solo time while with us. We do have quite a few cat visitors in our garden from our street, so please let us know if your dog is reactive to cats. Not willing to do training so please only book if you know your dog is well-behaved and fully trained. I will be the main carer for the dog but my partner, Richard, will also help. He is also a dog-lover! He has grown up with a lab / collie cross dog who can play fetch for hours!

A typical day
I love going on walks, whether that be a local walk through the Quarry along the river, or a longer hike on the Long Mynd. I’d be happy to go at the pace of your dog so you can let me know what they would like.
