Reliable Pet Care You Can Trust
I’ve had dogs throughout my childhood and have spent years pet sitting for friends and family. I’m also a proud cat owner, so I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I can help with walks, medication management, drop-in visits, and following specific dietary or care instructions. As a social worker by day, I’m comfortable with home visits, detailed routines, and meeting diverse needs with patience and care. You can count on me to treat your pets like family and keep them happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

Emily was amazing! Very communicative, caring and hit it off with my cat the second they met. She gave me such a piece of mind during my time away. Highly recommend!

Emily cared for our cats twice daily for almost a week and while we began the booking feeling hopeful and grateful to have found her, concerns began to creep in after the first few visits. We compensated her for her time at our meet and greet and offered to pay for her parking if she sent receipts. We soon suspected she was shaving a few minutes off visits by starting the app drop-ins earlier or ending later than the true times, which we saw via her parking receipts and notifications we get when our home is entered. However, we did not say anything as we told ourselves it was just a few minutes each day and wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. We were no longer able to do that when, in the middle of her second to last visit, we asked how our cats were doing and requested a video. She responded that she didn’t get a video that evening and had already left our home because she, “parked in the garage and I had to leave a few minutes early because then it charges me eight dollars versus seven.” She did not end the Rover drop-in until several minutes after her parking receipt logged her driving out of the garage; she also falsely documented the visit start time, beginning it on the app before entering our home. We did not raise our concerns that evening due to fear that she might not show up for her last visit and our acute awareness that angering her while she had access to our home could end badly. We had happily paid Emily for her parking after each drop-in, but we held off after this visit to confirm the garage rates and share our concerns with her once we got home and felt safe to do so. Upon returning and checking the garage sign, we saw the rate we told her was correct. Perhaps the extra dollar was tax or a convenience fee we were unaware of, but evenings were a flat rate so it didn’t matter that she left before the half hour visit was up. In response to our concerns, she said, “I completely understand that you wanted the full amount of time reflected in the booking,” but she was, “focused on getting to my car promptly because of the parking situation and the concern that I would be charged an additional parking fee.” We had the same goal, which was for her not to absorb such expenses, as evidenced by our daily parking reimbursement and compensation for the meet and greet. If she communicated the confusion, we could have figured out the unexpected charge or paid it, if needed. But leaving early was not the proper way to handle the situation and her reply to our concerns was also completely unacceptable. Also distressing was her response that she “had provided videos during the other visits as an additional courtesy to give you reassurance and allow you to see how the cats were doing. A video was not something that was required for me to complete the booking.” We were taken aback to hear she feels quick videos of our cats in our own home were an extra courtesy, since photos and videos are the main way for pet parents to see how their babies are doing while apart from them. We have used Rover for years and while we have not rebooked every sitter, we have never felt it necessary to write a review of our experiences with sitters we don’t plan to rebook. This time, though, we feel differently because other pet parents have a right to know that Emily is a sitter who leaves early, falsifies her Rover times, feels that sending videos of your pets in your home is an additional courtesy, and worst of all, is willing to allow two cats to lose the human interaction and care they so look forward to because she wanted to save a dollar, not to mention the lack of integrity and inability to take accountability for her actions.

Emily is a phenomenal cat sitter; I highly, highly recommend! I've rebooked because she's so friendly, attentive to my cat, and she's super flexible. She's helped me resolve unexpected issues with my cat when I've been out of town twice now (like his LitterRobot getting disconnected from the wifi and some vomiting). She takes so much photos during her visits with my cat and she's SO thorough with her notes. It's hard to find a reliable cat sitter who you trust with your fur baby and your home and Emily is the first sitter I've felt this trust with.

Emily was phenomenal with our two cats. She was caring, attentive, and always made sure that they had what they needed while we were away. We didn’t have to worry at all, as we knew they were in good hands. She was also extremely responsive and followed our instructions perfectly. I would absolutely book her services again!

Emily took care of Snow and Onyx for the second time and did a wonderful job! We will definitely be booking again! Highly recommend Emily!

Emily was amazing! We went on our trip and felt so at ease knowing she was taking care of our girls! We loved how communicative she was with us and her attention to detail during her drop in visits. Emily was great with our cat and rabbit and treated them like they were her own. We are so fortunate to have found Emily for our pet needs! Thank you!!

I love making visits fun and enriching! Depending on your dog’s personality, that might include walks with plenty of sniffing time, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, practicing simple tricks, or just relaxing together if they prefer calm company.
