“Crazy” instructions? No such thing
I have always been the one friends and family call to look after their beloved pets when they are away. And now I have a reactive rescue dog of my own! She has taught me a lot about the proper care, leadership, PATIENCE (I cannot stress this enough) and positive reinforcement needed for reactive dogs. I know that all pets need proper stimulation throughout the day to be happy and healthy, and I am committed to giving them 100% of my attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I am fully comfortable with following all pet instructions. I understand the need to be leashed when not in a gated area. I know the importance of crating dogs for their own safe space. Safety and comfortability are my number one priorities! I never leave my dog off leash unless there are solid boundaries. We also have a lot of rules in the home that allow her to understand how things work (no being in the kitchen when I’m cooking, no rushing out the door, waiting patiently for dinner, etc.). And I will always crate her if I am leaving her home an alone for a few hours.

Emily takes fantastic care of my two one-eyed cats when needed. She is incredibly respectful of our space and provides great love and support to them when I am away. It’s a huge relief knowing that they are in good hands with Emily. Couldn’t ask for a better pet caregiver.

Schedule
I work full-time from home. I can work around deadlines and availability to take care of your pets when you are unable to. I also live with a supportive partner who is able to assist in looking after my own pets while I am away looking after yours.
