Anytime our friends or family are headed out of town, we are the go to dog sitters for all of them. Everyone knows their pups are safe at our house and they’re guaranteed to receive tons of pictures and updates on their pup while vacationing. My husband, Pedro, is the other half of your pet care team. Together, we make sure the pup dogs at our house are rarely home alone or crated. My husband and I volunteer as foster pawrents for many dogs. We have been vetted and trusted with foster pups from more than one Dog Rescue. I am a nurse and my husband works in finance. Although we both work full time, my husband and I have flexible schedules and work from home frequently. Because of that, our pups are rarely home alone and almost never home alone for more than 4 hours. Because of our flexibility, if your pup needs to be let out more often we are happy to adjust our schedule accordingly. We have a fully fenced back yard with lots of green space. We have three adult dogs all under 30lbs who do great with other pups. They are accustomed to new dogs visiting frequently because of how often we dogsit and foster. Any dog staying at our house gets lots of excercise and play. Our dogs tend to be lower energy and love to lay on the couch and watch a movie with us. For higher energy visitors, we pull out a tug rope, peanut butter mats, kongs, and tennis balls to make sure no one is bored. For safety purposes, we crate all of the dogs when we are not at home. While the dogs are playing we monitor for signs that dogs may not be getting along or tolerating play well and separate the dogs or give them breaks as necessary.
