My first job at 10 years old was pet sitting for a neighbor’s dog every day after school. I was trusted to feed the dog and take him on his afternoon walk. It was a big responsibility that I did not take lightly—and I still have that same mindset with the animals I watch now! I’ve been on Rover.com since 2019 and have had such a wonderful experience with over 140 clients. I understand how important your animal’s happiness and well-being is and I strive to make sure each client I have never worries about their dog or cat when in my care. In April 2025 I adopted a dog from the Charlotte animal shelter with a seizure disorder (I’m great administering medication!) and my 18.5 year old calico cat (and childhood best friend) passed away February 2022 so always being around animals especially in my free time brings me joy. People often describe me as dependable, very organized and fun. These qualities are evident in the high level of care and customer service I give to my clients. I used to work as a customer service representative and that experience taught me the importance of communicating openly and effectively and making sure my clients feel heard. I do that with regular updates throughout the day (with pictures of course) so they can see firsthand how their pet is doing in my care and being sure to anticipate any questions they might have ahead of time so that all bases are covered.
