Caring for animals is both my career and my passion, and I love providing dependable, compassionate care when owners can't be home. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies, kittens, seniors, and pets with medical conditions or special needs. I'm also comfortable caring for birds, rabbits, and other small mammals on a case-by-case basis. As a veterinary assistant, I'm experienced administering oral, injectable, topical, and transdermal medications, so you can feel confident your pet is in capable hands. I offer drop-in visits, house sitting, and dog walking, and my goal is always to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I take a calm, gentle approach with every animal and treat each pet as an individual, building trust at their own pace. Whether your pet needs medication, playtime, cuddles, or simply a reliable companion while you're away, I'll care for them as if they were my own

I prefer to do a meet-and-greet before our first booking so I can get to know you, your pet, and their routine. As a veterinary assistant trained under Fear Free guidelines, I prioritize keeping pets comfortable and minimizing stress during every visit. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, and daily care, and I always double-check that doors and windows are secure before I leave. I'm happy to send photo and text updates if you'd like, and I'm experienced administering medications and recognizing signs that a pet may need veterinary attention. I'm also glad to help with little extras like bringing in mail or packages and watering plants while you're away.

Emily has taken care of my dog, Mason and my two cats several times over the years. Her love for animals is very apparent when she enters my house! As my dog has gotten older, he has required medicine at different times and I am completely confident that all of my pets will be taken care of. There is nothing better than having someone who loves animals as much as their owners, and that is Emily!

Schedule
I currently work full-time while transitioning into pet care as my primary career alongside my work as a musician. I'm available on weekdays, most weekends, and some holidays, with availability throughout the day depending on my schedule. I can often accommodate last-minute requests when possible, and I'm happy to provide multiple drop-in visits per day if you're within my service area. My goal is to offer dependable, flexible care that fits both your schedule and your pet's routine.
