I work from home, so any pup staying with me wouldn't be left alone for longer than (rareeely) 4-5 hours. I've dog proofed my space and provided a large backyard they can run out to for most of the day.

My house is a place where dogs are always welcome, meaning ive figured out most of the things that cause issues when a new dog occupies the space. I also have several vet friends, and know when most issues need to be escalated. And when in doubt, i call my mom (ahorse woman with manyyy vet friends).

A typical day
I work from home and typically take my dog henry on about 3ish 15 minute walks a day minimum. We hang out all day, and i let him in and out of the house to hang in the backyard. If its nice out, i leave the door open for him to go sunbath or play in the yard. During the night we hang out watching movies or putzing in the backyard. Dogs always sleep in the bed if they want to <3. I've also started running, and have been taking my neighbors young dog on 3-4 mile runs.

Pet care experience
Hello! I just lost my dear 15 year old pup and am reopening my Dog sitting to love on some fuzzy babies. I have a lovely fenced in backyard, a back deck with a door into the house frequently left open (Note - 13ish stairs to get down to yard area in case thats an issue). Cozy interior with toys, soft rugs, couches and toys. I just lost my 15 year old English Pinter, Henry in April. we’d been thru the ringer of medical issues we're familiar with finicky health issues. Preferred older dogs, but can handle pup energy for short while. Will also take pups on runs if up for it!

Emily took great care of our dog, Ron. She was very attentive and sent great photos. It’s such a relief to find and wonderful sitter!

Emily did an awesome job taking care of my four month old GSD pup! She has a spacious yard that allowed her to have plenty of space to run and tire herself out by the time I picked her back up. The meet and greet made me feel much more at ease as Emily showed us the space and let my pup meet her own dog that would be there. I could leave town knowing that my dog was well cared for and happy with regular updates and pictures being sent to me. Will definitely be booking with Emily again!
Emily and Henry are perfect hosts! Loads of pix of my happy dog and very easy-going caregiver. My dog Ransom and I give Emily two paws up for a great stay!
Emily has taken care of our dog River many times. She always treats him like he’s one of her own. She gives him lots of love and attention and always makes sure he stays active to get all of his energy out. Her dog Henry is also very sweet and loves to play with River. Any dog would be lucky to spend a weekend with Emily ❤️
