My Schedule: My calendar varies as I drive between Southampton (Home) and Guildford (University) so my availability may appear differently depending on when I am at each location. Whilst in Guildford (university term time), I am always free weekday evenings and during my lunch break (12:00-13:00). My timetable varies but sometimes leaves me available any time after midday. Whilst in Southampton (university holidays), I am usually free all day every day.

I’m happy to chat about the following: - General Behaviour/Personality - Feeding/Treats - Medications/Significant Medical History - Behavioural Challenges/Difficulties* If you have a specific way of doing things in happy to fit that into my visit. *My experience in dog training and working at the kennels has exposed me to many dogs with different behavioural challenges and I am confident in my ability to handle them.
A typical day
I really enjoy playing games that stimulate your pets mentally. My favourite game is sniffing and searching. I also enjoy training puzzles or tricks. It’s so exciting seeing your pet have their favourite game and then tiring themselves out. I enjoy relaxing side by side or simply keeping your pet company in whichever way they prefer.

I am a fourth year university student studying Veterinary Medicine. My main passion is dogs however cats, rabbits, exotics and wildlife are equally as amazing. Aside from lectures, I have had many exciting work placements in some Kennels, a Cattery, some Veterinary Clinics, and more! I’ve worked in a kennels and cattery for over three years and loved every second. This job included feeding, bathing and taking dogs to exercise compounds as well as feeding, grooming and letting cats explore. I especially enjoyed keeping all the animals’ company and taking photos to send to their owners. Before university, I attended and assisted weekly dog training classes between 2011 and 2020. Each training exercise was tailored to each dog, their age, needs, and owner expectation (some tasks were in line with behavioural challenges or others in line with service dog training)

Emily has been looking after Fleck regularly for the last couple of years and has been absolutely amazing. She is trustworthy, dependable, flexible and so so kind to Fleck. She is always happy to help with food, medication, or anything else, and does so competently. I cannot recommend Emily highly enough! We are only have to say goodbye as we are moving. I know that Fleck will miss seeing Emily at lunch time and we will miss knowing that Fleck is in 100% good hands.
Emily was wonderful. Loki instantly warmed to her. Emily kept me updated with plenty of updates and pictures.
With short notice Emily was brilliant, super communication and lovely photos of Bella of their walk together, thanks a million Emily.
