Mom & Dog Mom Side Hustle.
Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my entire life, & I am currently a registered nurse that has taken time off to raise my 3 year old son. My husband is a full-time country music singer, & travels a lot. I am looking into ways to have a side hustle, & also spend time loving on dogs! We have two dogs of our own, & my 3 year old is just like me—he has never met a dog that he didn’t love!

Emily's home is like home away from home for my dog Kona! My dog was instantly comfortable when I dropped her off, and Emily sent pics throughout her stay along with updates. Kona will definitely stay with Emily again!

Emily is a big animal lover and in particular a big dog lover. She loves on every dog she can and wants the best for them. She has watched my senior female beagle dog. As a beagle with stomach issues, Emily was diligent with my concerns and made sure my instructions were followed. My pup loves Emily and I would let her watch my girl again!

I have a fenced in backyard. We also have a park near our house that we frequently go to. My dogs are friendly with other dogs, & are house broken, as well as knowledgeable of basic commands. They were kennel trained until they passed the chewing phase of their life, & now they both have free roam of the home when we are home, & of the living room/kitchen area when we are not.

If your pets have any special needs, we can discuss prior to their time with me! I have owned special needs dogs in the past, so I am not too concerned about it! I prefer not to watch unaltered adult dogs. If they are under 1 year of age, I’ll make an exception since both of my dogs were not neutered until after 6 months of age!
A typical day
We will hang out inside & outdoors! Equal parts active & lounging. Both of my dogs, especially Ace (my weenie dog) loves playing with new friends!

Availability
I am home full time with my son. Every once in a while there may be a weekend that I’m unavailable due to my husband’s shows, but that is pre-planned. Your dogs will be treated the same as my own—like family. I tell everyone that my Australian Shepherd is my first born! We take walks around the neighborhood every night & play in the back yard a lot! We also spend time inside snuggling on the couch!
