Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life—I truly build my schedule around it. Whether I’m out walking dogs, checking in on pets, or helping with training, being around animals keeps me grounded and happy. I treat each visit like quality time, not just a task to check off. I’m used to working with a variety of pets throughout the week, so I’m very flexible and always make sure I have time to give each one the attention and care they deserve.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow your routines so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any special needs like medications or training cues. I keep things clean and calm, and make sure your pet gets lots of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. If your pup is staying in my home, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I provide a cozy, safe environment with plenty of supervised play, cuddles, and outdoor time. I always prioritize their comfort and make sure they have everything they need to feel right at home.

Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as I can to give them the best experience possible. This includes their daily routine, energy level, any medical conditions, allergies, or medications, and how they do with other animals and new people. I also appreciate knowing any behavioral quirks—like leash reactivity, anxiety triggers, or things they love (or hate!). The more I know, the better I can keep your pet happy, safe, and comfortable.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor our time together to what they love most! For energetic pups, we’ll go on fun walks, play fetch, or explore new smells on a sniffari (a dog’s favorite kind of adventure!). For more relaxed or older pets, I’m happy to spend time giving belly rubs, offering enrichment toys, or just keeping them company. I also love working in a bit of basic training or mental stimulation to keep their minds sharp and tails wagging. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, loved, and cared for while you're away.

Hi, I’m Emily! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I feel so lucky to turn that passion into a career. I’ve worked as a wedding pet attendant, dog groomer, training, and even at a vet hospital—so I’m comfortable with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is full of energy or a little shy, I meet them where they’re at and treat them like my own. I’d love the chance to get to know your furry family member and make their day a little brighter!

Emily has helped with my dog care for several years, and is the best caretaker of my little Ollie that I have had. She is very responsible and loving to the animal, and knows how to handle and care for them. She has always loved animals and has had several jobs in the animal related field. Emily is very mindful of letting the owner know if there are any issues, and follows through on my wishes as the dog owner.
