I'm currently a stay-at-home mom taking care of my son who was born in late February of 2023. We go on lots and lots of walks and car rides, so it's easy for me to fit a walk or drop-in into my daily schedule for you and your pet!

At my home I have a fenced yard that is at least 4ft tall, and 6ft tall in other places. It's mostly grass but we have a back patio as well that is shaded for part of the day by our garage. The interior of our home is quaint and mostly hardwoods. We don't have any pets of our own. When visiting clients homes I am sure to leave things exactly the way that I found them (shutting doors, closing gates, etc.). I will treat your home and your pet's space with respect-- as if they were my own!

It's very important to me to know if your pet has any behavioral tendencies. For walking it would be important to know if he/she is a puller, aggressive towards other dogs, distracted by cars or animals, or shy towards certain things. For drop-in visits it would be important to know if your pet jumps or is aggressive towards strangers.
A typical day
We live 15 minutes away from Lawrence Park, that's where my son and I usually walk to on our daily strolls! We love the big open fields and the shady trees there. They have some great open spaces to play fetch if that's something your pet likes to do!

I've taken care of neighbors pets and farm animals since I was about 10 years old. I have lots of experience including growing up with my own family dogs (labradors) all of my life! I'm happy to answer any questions about my care and capabilities!

This was the first time we have used a dog sitting service, so we searched for a sitter that we felt would be a good fit. Emily got back to us right away, to arrange an initial meetup, and asked thoughtful questions to ensure she knew our routines as well as Koda’s verbal commands. From the time that we dropped him off, until we picked him up, Emily was very communicative about Koda’s day and shared several pictures of him enjoying walks and playing in the yard. It was so nice to feel that Koda was cared for so lovingly and we would definitely recommend Emily to anyone needing someone to watch one of their four-legged family members.
