Hi there, we’re Emily and Javi — a husband-and-wife duo who truly live and breathe dogs! Our own pup, Bo, a sweet beagle mix, is the heart of our home and the reason we pour so much love into every dog we care for. Together, we’ve spent 5+ years volunteering at our local animal shelter where we adopted Bo from, where we’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. That experience has given us a deep understanding of dog behavior and a whole lot of patience, compassion, and confidence handling pups with all kinds of personalities. One of the things that makes us unique is that we both work hybrid schedules — which means there’s almost always someone home with your dog. No long stretches alone, no crate all day. Just plenty of attention, playtime, and cozy companionship. We also love to have a little fun — expect adorable photo shoots of your pup during their stay! We take pride in capturing cute, silly, and sweet moments to send your way so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing. When you leave your dog with us, you’re not just getting a sitter — you’re getting a whole family that genuinely loves dogs. We can’t wait to welcome yours. 🐾

Emily was wonderful with our senior pup Regen! Excellent communication and frequent pics. Bo (the resident pup) was also a gracious host. Regen seemed very comfortable there. We’ve already booked another stay, and have another (longer) one coming up!
Emily and her husband are wonderful hosts! Massie loves being with their dog (she gets some pet love) and is always having fun in the photos they share.
Emily was so great with Casper! She was very quick to respond, sent so many pictures, and was so accommodating when we had travel issues on pickup day. Highly, highly recommend!

Schedule
I currently work a flexible hybrid role. I only go into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but my fiance works fully remote so your pup will always have a great caregiver. I typically take my dog out 3 times a day but that can be customized if your dog has special needs or requests I am more than happy to fulfill.

I currently live in an 2 story 2 bedroom loft apartment with lots of cozy lounging areas for your pet. I have two cameras to watch the pups if I am not home. When boarding a dog I will never feed them in the same room or leave high value treats or toys laying around that may cause an altercation. When the dogs are together they are always supervised and will never be left alone with one another. If I am running errands I will put my dog in my room and your dog can stay out and chill if they are not destructive or in the cage where I can watch them through the camera as well. Typically when I am caring for a pup I will only go out for short errand and dogs aren’t left alone for an extended period of time.

A typical day
I think mental and physical stimulation is important. I have great walking trails near me and love to go on long walks that will enrich your pup. But I know with the summer heat kicking in now that is not always the best option and will provide enrichment toys at home as well.
