I currently work part-time and a knitting store and part-time online. I hike or run most days. Pet care fits easily into this routine, especially alongside care for my husky! This includes walks, sitting, and overnight care.

I need to know if your dog gets along well with other dogs (and might even enjoy a play date!) If so, I’ll bring my dog along for the ride. Also would love to know about any reactivity, whether off-leash walks are okay, and any special commands they respond to.
A typical day
We can go on hikes or walks, go to the river for some romping around and cooling off, head to a park for fetch, or stay at home and play (or sleep, if they’re tired!). I love being active and love having dogs be with me even more.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and currently have a rescue husky who I am training to pass the CGC test (she is doing well!). Our family is very much a “pack,” meaining our husky is not just a pet but a companion. We all (including our husky) love visitors, humans and dogs!

Emily is very responsible and caring for animals. She helped me take care of my energetic yellow Labrador. She took him on long walks, ran together, gave him a lot of belly pets, and he was a happy and tired dog at the end of every Emily day. Emily pays close attention to animals’ needs and feelings. She is a wonderful caregiver for animals!
