I’ve always loved being around dogs and have a lot of hands on experience with different personalities and needs! I have a German Shepherd and a Boxer, so I’m very used to larger dogs, higher energy, and the kind of attention some dogs need to feel settled and happy. I’m very comfortable with dogs that are more anxious or take a little time to warm up, as well as seniors or pets that need medication or a more specific routine. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet and figuring out what makes them feel their best—it’s one of my favorite parts of doing this!

Emily has watched my dog several times for me when I have gone on a trip and has done an amazing job! My dog loves spending time with her, and I usually get pictures of him cuddling on the couch, playing, or just being silly. She truly has a heart for animals. As a dog mom, it is hard to leave my baby with other people, however, Emily makes that process pain free, and honestly, sometimes my dog is having so much fun that he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up! There is no one better than Emily when it comes to watching my dog!

Emily is known as Auntie at our house! Our dog is a very anxious and protective terrier mix who turns into a a 80 lb potato at the sight of Emily! Emily is super reliable and always gives me updates and photos of her visits with Buddy. I know that Buddy has been showered with smooches and snuggles when Emily visits. She is mindful of Buddy’s needs, safely walking him and making sure he eats.
Emily is an amazingly compassionate person when it comes to the care and well-being of animals! I trust her with my pets and would highly recommend her to anyone I know, needing a pet sitter. Emily understands different animals have different needs,personalities, and comfort zones. She is sure to help pets gain her trust, and go as slow as needed to keep them comfortable while establishing a bond.

My work from home schedule is pretty flexible, which makes it easy for me to work around what your pet needs. 🙂 I’m available mornings, mid-day, evenings, and overnights, including weekends. Pet care is already part of my daily routine, so I’m not rushing through visits. I make sure your pet gets real time, attention, and care!

I keep things safe, simple, and easy for pets to settle into. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can get outside time, and I always supervise while they’re out. Inside, things stay clean and calm, and I can give pets their own space if they need a break or some quiet time. I’m also certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, so I’m prepared if anything unexpected comes up—but most of all, I focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for the entire time!

Ein typischer Tag
Every pet is a little different, but I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible! That usually includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, and either playtime or just relaxing together—depending on what your pet enjoys. Some dogs want to stay active and engaged, others just want someone nearby, and I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I don’t rush visits, I take my time to make sure they’re fed, settled, and doing well before I leave!
