Availability
I work from home full time! So I can amend my schedule when caring for your cat. I can take time in the morning before I start work to check on your kitty, I can check on them during my lunch break, and I can check on them in the evening. Ideally I’d swing by once a day, but we can negotiate if your cat has special needs!

I will do exactly what you need me to do for your cat in your home: I’m happy to just pop in and feed them, clean the litter box and leave, OR, if you’ll let me, I’m happy to comb them and play with them and pet them a bunch and hug them and kiss em on the head, etc. I’m eager for some quality cat time. But if you just want me to feed ‘em and leave, I respect that! Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it. 👍🏻
Information Emily O. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your cat is aggressive or defensive. I’m not going to try to pick up your cat on the first go around but it’s always nice to know if someone requires a little extra tenderness and patience. If you need someone to administer oral medication, I’ve only ever had success when using pill pocket treats. I could never get my cat to take a pill without those things. So if you need me to administer oral medication while you’re gone, I’m afraid I can only do it with the pill pockets.
A typical day
I love hanging out with cats, and I love playing with them with wand toys. But sometimes cats just want to chill! I can read a room. If they are down for some playtime, so am I. If they want to be left alone, I get it. Unless you’re against it, treats are sometimes involved… I like to pretend that after they catch a toy, it’s like they just hunted something, and the treat is the sustenance they get from their kill. Not too many treats, though!

Can I please pet your cat??
Cat care experience
Hi! I recently moved here from California and am currently cat-less—but very much a cat lover looking to share some feline friendship! I’ve cared for my own beloved cat, Armin, for years and know how much cats thrive on consistency, attention, and respect for their space. While I’m not ready to adopt again, I’d love to be your cat’s part-time companion—someone who will care for them just as attentively as you do. You can count on me to follow instructions exactly. I understand feline routines and quirks: I cleaned Armin’s litter box 1–2 times daily, fed him small meals throughout the day, and made sure we had regular playtime and grooming sessions (combing was our favorite!). I also kept up with yearly vet visits and even had him insured. I’m no stranger to the messier side of pet care either—vomit, litter box surprises, fleas, even the occasional “present” from outside—I’ve seen it all and handle it with care and calm. I’d be honored to care for your cat and treat them like royalty. Thank you for considering me! 🐾
Reviews
Emily is an amazing kitty whisperer, and goes above and beyond with kitty care. Truly a gem find on Rover and in the cat care community! 😎🤩😻🙏🙏🙏

Emily was great with Hobbes and followed all the provided guidance. We appreciate her patience with Hobbes given his grumpiness from being on a vet recommended diet.

We had such a great experience with Emily! She took excellent care of our cats while we were away. She was thorough with her updates, leaving detailed notes & sending lots of pictures—which we really appreciated! She gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable & caring pet sitter!
Emily has cared for my cat on several occasions. She’s always punctual, communicates regularly with updates and photos, and genuinely goes the extra mile – whether it’s cleaning, brushing, or just giving medication. My cat likes Emily more than he like me. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy caregiver. – Sam
