As a graduate student, I have an extremely flexible schedule that gives me ample time throughout the day to make drop-in visits and take care of your cat! Especially in the summer, I have an extremely open schedule, even around major summer holidays. During the semester, I will still have plenty of open time outside of teaching that I can use to make visits and care for your cat! Since my schedule changes by the semester, please reach out and ask for more specifics.

Let me know if your cat has any specific needs (meds, types of food) or is uncomfortable with any types of playing/petting/interactions. If your cat doesn’t show face often, do let me know how I can ensure they are eating and using the litter properly.
A typical day
At every visit I will engage in play and cuddles with your cat to the extent that they want! Helping ensure that your cat is not only fed but also stimulated and not bored is a top priority. I am happy to relax and cuddle with lower energy cats as well. :)

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of cat’s both at home and for friends and neighbors all my life! I now have a one-year old, extremely outgoing and energetic cat of my own who is my whole world, but I have also worked with and lived with plenty of shy cats too. I have worked and lived with cats at every stage of life, from younglings to seniors, and have some limited experience giving cats daily medications.

Emily was wonderfully patient with our shy but sweet cat and quickly made him feel comfy enough to come out for cuddles and play time. Communicative and took the cutest pictures along with the updates. Next time we're out of town we'll definitely be booking again with Emily.

She has a passion for caring and loving on your animals in a way that makes them not miss you at all when you're gone!
