Safety, trust & environment

For your dog's optimal stay: What to bring: - Your dog's food, collar + leash; feel free also to bring (i.e., optional) treat, toys, bed/sleeping mat, etc. During the night, when I'm not at the house, and some other times during the day (see "Between Hours" on my schedule), your dog may be temporarily placed in a crate/kennel. If your dog is good on a leash, I will take it for walks; otherwise, I can play lots of games in the yard (which is over an acre) for exercise and fun. If you want your dog freshened up, I will give the dog a simple bath for $30-110, depending on size and hair length. General Health (for the safety of your dog and myself): - Vaccines: Your dog must be up-to-date on its vaccines (e.g., Rabies). - Flea treatment: Your dog must have current flea treatment (within the last 30 days). The Doggy Inn does not accept short-snouted dogs (e.g., pit bulls).

The Doggy Inn - Love, Play, Repeat

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs my whole life — from raising a puppy to caring for multiple dogs at once. Whether your pup is young and energetic or a bit of a senior citizen who needs a gentler touch, I’ll love and care for them both. Looking forward to your dog having a second home with The Doggy Inn.

We had a wonderful experience with Emily! From the start, communication was excellent, and it was clear that our dog, Millie, was in caring, capable hands. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away.

Emily watched my two dogs for a very last minute overnight stay while we were out of town for a wedding. We appreciated her flexibility with us!
