I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for them isn’t a hobby for me, it’s just part of who I am. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, ducks, rabbits, and even rats, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, needs, and routines. I currently have two dogs and a cat who are truly treated like my children. I’m very intentional about species appropriate food, daily movement and exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of affection. What sets me apart is that I don’t take a one size fits all approach. I respect each pet’s unique needs, preferences, and boundaries, whether that means extra playtime, a calm companion for seniors, or patience with shy or anxious pets. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness always come first.

Emily is very sweet, loving, and caring, not only towards humans, but even more towards 4 legged friends. She is extremely responsible with her own animals, 2 dogs and a cat which were all adopted by her. She always makes sure they are healthy, well fed with the best quality food, and that they are safe and comfortable in a clean and ample environment. My Chihuahua loves her! I highly recommend Emily as a pet caregiver, your pets would be in the best hands with quality love and care from the heart, just like part of the family!

I work full time remotely, which means I’m home throughout the day and able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care. My schedule is flexible, allowing for regular walks, playtime, feeding, and check ins rather than long stretches alone. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, so your pet will have consistent companionship and a calm, attentive environment.

Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding instructions, exercise, medications if needed, and any household rules. I take time to understand a pet’s personality and environment so they feel secure and respected in their own space. In my home or yours, I keep a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment and never leave pets unsupervised for long periods. I’m attentive, detail-oriented, and quick to notice changes in behavior or routine. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel confident and at ease while they’re apart.

A typical day is centered around keeping pets happy, comfortable, and engaged. We start with feeding and outdoor time, followed by walks, playtime, or enrichment activities that match each pet’s energy level. I love incorporating sniff walks, gentle games, and interactive play to keep pets both mentally and physically stimulated.
