Please feel free to share any special needs, behaviors, or training goals you have. I am particularly interested in knowing about any dietary restrictions or allergies, as well as any triggers that might affect their behavior during walks. I use positive reinforcement training methods, so I will always have treats on hand to reward good behavior. If your pet is already trained in a specific way, I am happy to continue with those methods. For day care services, a meet and greet is required to ensure my dog and yours are a good match. We can arrange to meet at a local park. Please let me know a couple of days and times that work for you. I understand that leaving your pet in my care can be a big decision, and I want to make sure you feel confident that your furry friend is in good hands. I am committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience for your pet. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

A typical day as a pet sitter/dog walker for me would involve meeting with your pet and getting to know them on their home turf. We will discuss their routine, preferences, and any specific needs they might have. During walks, I like to focus on engaging them mentally and behaviorally, rewarding positive behavior and encouraging them to explore their surroundings. If you would like me to work on specific training goals, I am happy to do so. For drop-in visits, I will arrive at your home at the agreed-upon time and follow any instructions you have left for me. This could include feeding your pet, walking them, or simply providing companionship. I will also make sure to send you a report of how your pet did while I was with them. In addition to in-home care and walks, I offer doggy daycare at my pet-friendly home. Your pet will have plenty of opportunities for play and exercise with my playful shiba, Mugi. I am flexible and adaptable, so I can tailor my approach to meet your pet's individual needs and your specific requests. I am also happy to discuss any additional services you might be interested in, such as administering medication.

When I need my pup to have some company during the day, I know she is in the best hands with Emily. Not only does she provide a fun and loving environment for my dog to play with her own, but Emily has also been instrumental in helping me work on recall training. She is always so attentive to my dog's needs, from sharing treats (even the homemade ones!) to checking in with me before feeding her.
