As a caretaker, I am very thorough and consistent when it comes to following the instructions I’ve been given. I also value time for play, exercise, and enrichment, making sure each pet gets the attention and activity they need to feel happy and comfortable. I prioritize maintaining pets’ regular routines—whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, medication, or downtime—so they feel secure and at ease in my care. I’m attentive to individual personalities and needs, and I always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment, whether in my home or a client’s home.

Emily is the best sitter I’ve EVER had in ten years of pet ownership! She stayed at our house for 2 and a half weeks taking care of our dog and cat while we were on our honeymoon. Emily truly went above and beyond in every way to make sure our babies got their needs met, including keeping our terrified terrier mix safe and comforted when a tornado hit Ann Arbor in the middle of the night. Our pup also had an unexpectedly bad reaction to some construction work on our street, and Emily made extra efforts to calm his nerves and adapt to a new medication regiment on the fly. She also sent us regular updates that clearly demonstrated how much both pets had bonded with her, and was prompt and conscientious whenever any issues came up. I would not hesitate to recommend Emily’s services to anyone seeking dog or cat care.

Emily has watched both of my dogs many times now, and she is not only an excellent caregiver but also a thoughtful pet lover. My dog, Callie, was less than a year old when Emily first watched her, and Emily was more than willing to put up with the extremely early mornings and waking up throughout the night to ensure Callie was comfortable. I could not recommend Emily enough to be your pet's sitter!
Emily did a fantastic job watching my hyper active German shepherd. Emily took her on many walks to help get all of my dog’s energy out. She was super attentive and would toss the ball for her anytime she would bring it to her. My dog also struggles with high anxiety and Emily was able to keep her calm and comforted while I was out of town. Will definitely keep using Emily to watch my dog anytime I’m out of town.

I am a full-time graduate student at the University of Michigan and also work part-time as an intern. Both roles have flexible schedules and manageable workloads, allowing me to check in regularly throughout the day.
