I can always leave my baby knowing she is in good hands with Emily. There is a reason I am a repeat client!

***New clients, please note that I am currently booked with regulars for walks and drop ins between 10am-2pm! I currently have openings for new clients from 8am-9:30am and from 2:30pm-5pm. Thank you!***

I absolutely love dogs and am looking to spend more of my time with them! I have a 4.5 year old golden retriever named Rocket who is the light of my life but I still have more belly rubs to ...

What Emily would like to know about your dog

Before your dog stays with me, I would need to make sure he/she gets along well with my dog. Rocket is a mellow 4.5 year old neutered golden retriever. He has a very gentle disposition which sometimes leads to him getting picked on by very high energy dogs or pushy players. I require a meet and greet before boarding a dog for the first time to see how they’ll get along and make sure it’s a great fit for all parties.
Any dog staying in my home must be house trained and up to date on all shots, flea and tick preventative, and heartworm preventative! I will ask that you to bring their shot records to our meet and greet so that I can confirm they are up to date.

When Emily watches your pet

We have a great neighborhood for walking both long and short distances so I am able to keep up with whatever exercise requirements your dog may have. I usually take my dog on one long walk in the afternoon after I get home from my walks and drop ins (or in the morning before work when it’s too hot outside) but we are flexible and can conform to your dog’s schedule.
This is my full-time job so I do have walks and drop ins during the day. This means I am usually out of the house for anywhere from 2-6 hours but I am often able to come home in between jobs and my husband comes home for lunch every day so your dog will never be alone for very long.
When your dog stays with me, we will play catch in my backyard, get some mental exercise with puzzle toys, or snuggle on the couch, whatever your dog is into! I have two toy boxes, one for the power chewers with lots of nylabones (boiled and washed after each visitor), rope bones, and more durable toys; and the other is full of plush toys for those who (like my dog) like to carry around a stuffie. We have space for crates and beds so feel free to bring whatever your dog will need to feel most at home.
I only board one dog at a time (or two from the same family) to ensure they get the time and attention I would want my dog to have if he was boarding somewhere. Exceptions to this rule may be made on a case by case basis, only when I know both dogs well and with both owners permission.
My drop-off/pick-up window for boarding is from 8AM to 8PM. If you would need to drop off or pick up your dog earlier or later, they’ll have to spend an extra night.
