Availability
As a stay-at-home potter, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent, loving care. I can provide morning and afternoon visits for walks, meals, and play, as well as in-home care during longer stretches while I manage my creative work. Weekends or flexible blocks allow for longer walks, extra playtime, or special needs care. My schedule lets me meet pets’ needs while keeping a calm, attentive presence.

I know what it’s like to love your pets like family — I’ve had animals in my life my whole life, and I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with them. That’s why I bring calm, confident energy and treat every pet as if they were my own. I love caring for pets right in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable. Being in a familiar space helps them stay relaxed, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages — from playful puppies to seniors — and with pets who need medication or special care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, cuddles, or just quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and understood. I also keep your home cared for, so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.

Information Emily M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any medications, special needs, or routines I should follow. It’s also helpful to know about their personality, energy level, and anything that makes them feel safe and comfortable. I’d love to hear if they enjoy walks, outdoor time, or car rides so I can make their time with me calm and enjoyable.
A typical day
I love helping dogs feel calm, safe, and comfortable first — building trust comes before anything else. Once they’re settled, we can go for gentle walks, spend time outside, or visit the park if that’s something they enjoy. I like to tune into each dog’s energy and make sure they feel secure before any play or excitement. I’m happy to take dogs in the car or to favorite spots outside the home, but only if they’re comfortable and it’s approved by their humans.

Pet care experience
Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — caring for them isn’t just something I do, it’s something I love. I’ve shared my life with so many kinds of creatures over the years: dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, and even a bearded dragon. Each one has taught me something about presence, trust, and unconditional love. I have a calm, confident energy that helps animals feel safe and seen. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, and those who need medication or special care. I’ve been doing this for over twenty years, and I bring both deep experience and genuine heart to every animal I meet. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and doggy daycare — everything except overnight stays in my home. Whether your pet needs a peaceful companion, an attentive caregiver, or someone who simply gets them, I’ll show up with gentleness, reliability, and real love.

Cannot say enough great things about Emily. Our anxious puppy looked so at ease when we got her back. Emily showed her support and care and we are so thankful to have found her.

Emily was great with our Sadie! She was on time, responsive, and gave us updates as she was there. We felt comfortable with her in our home and know that Sadie was happy to have her be there. If you’re looking for a sitter, don’t hesitate to book Emily!
My mom has cared for animals her entire life, and her absolute love for them shows in everything she does. We ran a rabbit sanctuary together, and she would dutifully forage wild greens for the rescue rabbits. She’s also nurtured newborn litters of feral kittens and raised litters of puppies, giving each one patient, loving care. Her calm, confident energy makes every animal feel safe, happy, and loved. She’s incredibly responsible and attentive, and I would trust her with any pet, no matter their age or needs.
