Hello! My name is Emily and I love animals, but especially dogs. I have an 80 pound mixed breed of my own named Chester and I frequently sit my friends and family's dogs. My favorite thing to do with my dog is to take him on adventures and explore new areas. I am very comfortable with handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have experience with dogs of all types, from sweet puppies and rambunctious teenagers to active adults and grey-faced seniors. I'll treat your dog(s) like my own, with love and respect. You can be assured your dog will get the best care. I am available every day for sitting, walks, and drop in visits. I am able to administer oral/topical medications and subcutaneous fluids if needed. I am also comfortable feeding specialty diets, such as raw food. I also do some grooming such as brushing, baths, nail trims, and ear cleaning. All bookings made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to my holiday rate. I do not take same day requests from new clients. Please enquire about availability. I work full time but work from home half the week!

I have a solid knowledge of dog and cat handling (even the naughty ones!) and feel confident in handling and caring for all pets. I want to know all safety measures, training methods, and typical handling owners use with their pets to ensure consistency and avoid confusion for the pets.

Schedule
I work full time 8:30-4:30, M-F. Up until recently pet sitting was my only job, but I am now a full time NYS employee. I work from home 50% of the time. I encourage all potential clients to reach out and enquire about my availability!
