Pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to provide consistent and timely check-ins. My farm-kid instincts and Marine-level discipline keep routines tight, and I cap the number of pets I accept so no animal ever competes for my full attention. Animals have always been woven into my day-to-day life—caring for them isn’t a task, it’s a rhythm I’m used to.

I can easily crate if needed, and I’m happy to separate animals for a calm environment. Cleanliness, structure, and clear communication are my baseline—your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I’d want for my own—clean, quiet, and intentional. I follow all instructions carefully, keep mess to an absolute minimum, and make sure your pet stays safe, calm, and well cared for in their familiar environment.

I do well with high-energy working breeds and love dogs who enjoy structure, mental stimulation, and affection in equal measure, but I also love a sweet senior dog who just wants to relax and feel safe. Every visit is adjusted to meet your dog where they are.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog both mentally and physically. We’ll rotate through enrichment games, explore local parks and trails, and enjoy plenty of sniff walks in safe, stimulating environments. I aim to keep each visit fresh, engaging, and aligned with your dog’s needs and energy level.

Pet care experience
I was raised on—and still help run—my family’s small farm, so animal care is second nature. From rabbits to horses, chickens to cows, and everything in between, I’ve worked with just about every kind of animal. I’ve also had dozens of dogs and cats throughout my life. My background in the Marine Corps means I bring discipline, strong communication, and a quick response time. If you ever have a question or concern, it’ll be handled right away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority.

Emily was awesome! We have a nervous Weimaraner and she had him for a full week with zero concerns. She sent me pictures and updates of all their hiking adventures and asked questions to make sure she cared for him just like we do. So appreciative of her and can’t wait to book with her again!

Emily was super punctual and was eager to meet and take care of my dog. He's a 30lb spaniel-beagle mix and he is the definition of a handful, but he LOVED Emily. You can tell she loves dogs and truly enjoys taking care of them. As a person she was also just really easy to work with. Responded quickly, was punctual, very friendly. 10/10.
