I'll love them like my own!
I have a deep love for animals and a lot of experience caring for them. At my childhood home, I looked after two dogs, three cats (foster fails), and one red-eared slider turtle (rescued from the side of a busy street). Here in Ithaca, I help take care of my housemate's energetic cat. In my free time, I love to fill it with spending time with animals, like visiting Farm Sanctuary by Watkins Glen to see the rescued barn animals. I also volunteer at the Sciencenter, where I handle reptiles and aquatic animals such as corn snakes, geckos, lizards, and even a horseshoe crab! I enjoy teaching kids about these animals and having them engage with them kindly and safely.

I'll maintain a regular schedule for your pet and do my best to keep them as close to their routine as possible. I'll also take care of tasks like collecting the mail, light plant watering, taking out the trash, and scooping and topping off the litter daily.

Emily is awesome!! My dog cannot go to regular doggy daycare because he doesn't like other dogs. He also suffers from separation anxiety and I have never had to get a sitter before. Emily knew just what to do and Loki did so great with her. She came right over when I needed her and was just so easy going and professional. There are a lot of sitters on Rover and I was overwhelmed by the choices. I chose Emily because she had just updated her calendar and availability and had a lot of positive reviews. Programa
I currently work part-time at a desk job, so I'll appreciate any chance I can get to hang out with your pets or go for a walk! My availability is best on the weekdays, which allows me to easily stop by, feed, and walk your pets if you're busy during normal working hours.
