Emily is the best and helps make me feel at ease whenever traveling. The cats love her and she always sends the best photos. 10/10.

Emily is great! Super attentive.

I have used Emily’s services before and I had the worst, most bizarre experience that resulted in thousands of dollars in damages and my husband having to spend 24 hours traveling home. There were a lot of issues right from the jump. It was nearly midnight of the first day of the housesitting and she still had not arrived. She was supposed to arrive in time for their dinner. I tried to contact her several times with no response and she never communicated an issue to me. She left the next morning and did not return for ~24 hours based on my camera. My cats get fed 2x a day. After she finally arrived I messaged her and asked for updates at least once a day and to communicate if she is unable to be with my cats as needed. She never replied. I was willing to reset expectations and hear her out if something had happened. I just asked that she communicate and care for my cats. We were nearing another 24 hours without her checking on my cats and she was not communicating despite being shown as active on the app. I called Rover emergency for a replacement and messaged her she was not allowed in my home again. In the mean time I called a friend to check on my poor cats: they had no food and had gotten into a styrofoam food container she left out. Our cats had thrown up in several places, something they don’t do often and was likely due to not being fed. My friend then went upstairs and found Emily had brought her sick cat and left her with no food and nothing but a pee pad in my bedroom. The cat also had hairballs and other things in my room. She wasn’t not authorized to bring her pet into my home, much less get sick cat. She finally replied some time later without taking any responsibility or offering any explanation except to lie that she had been there. I have cameras. She wasn’t. She never admitted to the cat. I repeated that she wasn’t allowed in my home. During this time we decided that this situation was dire enough for my husband to spend 24 hours on a flight home to ensure the safety of our home and pets. She replied some time later that she needed to get her personal items and laptop, again never mentioning the cat, and stated that she would let me have a “trusted friend” be there when she collected her things. I replied shortly after saying she needed to wait while I saw what I could arrange. She replied later that her things had been collected. She went into my home, after being told multiple times she was no longer welcome, less than 2 minutes after I received her message about a “trusted friend.” I don’t know what’s going on with this sitter and if it’s an outside issue I hope she is getting the help she needs, but she should not be caring for my or anyone else’s animals.

Emily was a fantastic drop-in visitor for our two cats. She took excellent care of them and was unbelievably kind and warm.

Emily is terrific! She is a true animal lover and pays close attention to my dog, making her feel comfortable and happy. Emily also took great care of our plants and house while we were on vacation. I highly recommend her. She will be your pet’s next best friend!

Emily did a great job looking after everyone. She sent some really great photos and took good care of the house as well.
