Hi, I’m Em — a calm, caring, and reliable pet sitter who genuinely loves animals and understands how important it is to leave them with someone you trust. I’ve been a pet owner for many years and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I’ve had a dog for nearly 10 years, cats for around 8 years, rabbits for 4–5 years, and hamsters for a couple of years. I’ve also had birds as pets, so I’m comfortable caring for animals with very different needs, routines, and personalities. Because of this, I’m very attentive to individual care — whether that’s sticking closely to feeding schedules, understanding body language, keeping environments calm and familiar, or giving pets the space or affection they need to feel settled. I’m a parent, which means I’m naturally organised, patient, and very used to responsibility and routine. I plan my days carefully so pets in my care get calm, focused attention and never feel rushed or overlooked. I’m always happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and instructions, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I provide a calm, safe, and caring environment for pets, whether I’m looking after them in my home or in their own. I understand how important routine and familiarity are, so I always follow owners’ instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and any specific care needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both the space and the pet’s usual routine, helping them feel relaxed and secure. If pets are in my home, they are supervised, kept in a clean and pet-safe environment, and never placed in situations where they could feel stressed or unsafe. I pay close attention to behaviour and body language, especially for pets who may be anxious or need extra reassurance. Safety and wellbeing are always my priority, and I communicate openly with owners by sending regular updates and photos, so they can feel confident and at ease while their pet is in my care.

Emily was an amazing pet sitter while I was away for a week. My cat absolutely loved her, and it was clear they bonded really well. She stuck perfectly to feeding times and routines, which gave me real peace of mind. When I came back, my cat was happy, relaxed, and in great health. Schedule
I can care for pets during the week Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6pm. Some days I can do a bit longer or start a bit later, I am quite flexible.
