We love dogs! Big yard, WFH parents
Hello and nice to meet you! We're an animal-loving family and we know dogs are an important part of your family. We are a family of four and your doggie will get tons of love. We work from home and have a very convenient doggie door that goes into a fully fenced and shaded backyard. We have children and do ask that your dog be familiar with (and like!) kiddos. We recently said goodbye to our 14-year old Australian Shepherd Phinney so sadly we don't currently have a dog of our own, but that means that your dog will get extra love and attention. We will typically just book one dog at a time to make sure your dog is our focus. It might also help to know that we were dog sitters for a long time when we lived in LA and just re-activated our service after moving to Colorado, which is why some of the past reviews are from a few years ago. The latest pics of our yard are the snow covered ones but you can check out all the amazing buddies we've met along the way. :) Our goal is to make sure you feel great leaving your dog with us. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog with a stranger and your pup will be well taken care of and you can expect great communication, lots of pics and prompt responses when your pup is with us. Emily was so kind and flexible when our dog’s stay was cut short after a flight cancellation. She and her family gave Izzy so much love, play time, and cuddles in her short visit and graciously offered a refund for the remainder of the weekend.

We had a great experience with Emily! She and her family took such good care of our dog during her 5-night stay—lots of long walks, playtime, and attention. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Our dog loves her tennis ball to a fault, and Emily played lots of games of fetch with her - what a lucky dog! Our pup came home happy and relaxed, which says it all. Would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter on Rover!
Emily has watched Willow several times. Willow is always excited to spend time with her and her family. I have never felt more comfortable leaving Willow, and know she is always well taken care of. We recently had a flight delay and Emily was gracious enough to keep Willow for another night to accomodate our travels. I would highly recommend Emily and her family to watch any of your pets!
Amazing family! They took such good care of Bella. Bella got plenty of exercise and snuggles. We appreciated the updates from Emily as well!
Emily and her family did a fantastic job watching Otis! I feel like our guy got the best possible care with Emily. They provided great pictures, were flexible with our shifting schedules, and were more than willing to accommodate Otis's quirks! I can tell he was so loved during his stay and truly treated like one of the family. Although I always worry leaving him, I felt really comfortable with Otis in their care. Overall, Emily and the fam are very responsible and trustworthy - we will absolutely be booking again!!

Schedule
Both my husband and I work full-time from home and we are very flexible with doggie care needs. We can accomodate any level of exercise needed, the trails are directly outside our front door and we can make sure your pup gets plenty of fresh air and walks. We also have a doggie door so your pup can get outside however much they need.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is our number one priority. All entrances are fully fenced or gated. We will keep a close eye on your pup and follow all instructions provided. Our kids are great with dogs having grown up with a dog their whole life and will be supervised in any interactions. However if your dog isn't socialized with children our house isn't the right fit.
A typical day
When you book please be sure to share any exercise needs or special care requests. Where your dog sleeps is negotiable, but I’ve found it best for you to bring your dogs bed/crate, so they have a slice of home with them. I believe a well-exercised dog is a happy dog, so we'll make sure that on top of the playtime they get with our family, they get out for at least one walk per day. We can also visit a nearby dog park if you'd like (or avoid if you don't). I will try to accommodate any and all needs so please be sure to share with me.
