The fun pet auntie!
Hello there, welcome to my page! I love love love animals, but I will say that dogs are the most near and dear to my heart. I grew up with 2 cocker spaniels and have experienced their puppy, adult, senior and end-of-life care stages. Additionally, from around January 2020 to July 2021 I was a step-in pawrent for my brother’s two fur babies—a border collie and a 60 lb mutt. Other friends and family have trusted me to care for their fur babies as well! The common theme is is that all the pets have found me to be the fun, spoiling (with limits of course), auntie!

Emily watched our 1.5 year old mini goldendoodle for 4 days and he absolutely adored her. She was great with communication sending text and picture updates throughout the stay. We had an initial meet and greet with Emily ahead of time and we knew instantly that she is an animal lover! She asked all the right questions to make sure our dog was fed /walked/ exercised on time. Emily’s apartment was also great for our active pup since she has a little private outdoor balcony. Would recommend Emily to any of our friends and will definitely be booking in the future again! Emily is the best person you could ask for to take care of your pets!! I had her care of my 2 dogs while I was gone on a 1week vacation and they absolutely adored her! She was very patient with both of them and made sure they were fed, walked, and taken out daily. She also sent me text/picture updates throughout the day so I felt very safe leaving my dogs in her care! It's clear that Emily LOVES animals and I trust her to give all pets the best possible care. 10/10 stars - I would recommend her to any pet owner!!!
Emily is the best! My 2 dog are always so excited to see her. She treats my boys as if they were her own and I feel at ease knowing that the boys are well taken care of. She was really easy to communicate with, and I definitely will continue to book her!
Emily is a true animal lover and is so understanding of dogs and their different temperaments. My chiweenie is very shy and takes quite a while to warm up to people, but she got comfortable with Emily immediately and they were playing tug of war in no time. I was so shocked! You should definitely book Emily on Rover. Your pet will be in excellent hands.

Schedule
Of note, I had to step away from pet boarding and sitting for a few years as I was completing my residency in internal medicine. I am now back and more available as I wrap up my fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. I usually work a Monday-Friday 8am-4pm type schedule (with some slight variations some weeks).

I live in a one bedroom apartment (672 sq ft). I am able to store a crate or other items your pet needs to feel comfortable. I am a big fan of communication and am more than happy to provide updates and photos throughout the day!
A typical day
The area in front of my apartment complex has an area to walk pets and I live next to Centennial Park--I would love to go on long walks! At home we can play with toys and encourage mental stimulation with hide and seek treats!
