Providing a loving home for lovely pooches!
I grew up with a dog and my extended family are farmers so I have been around dogs from a very early age. My partner, Alex, and his parents have had many fostered dogs in the past and always found this rewarding. Alex’s parents have always had Dalmatian’s so he grew up around a lot of dogs too. We now have our own pooch called Carter, who was a 12 week old rescue. Carter is now a 2 year old standard poodle. We take research regarding dogs needs very seriously, have experience as owners and in training. Carter loves other dogs and is very gentle and friendly with them. We have always found socialising him with both people and dogs very important.

I could not be more delighted to find Emily as a dog sitter. It was my first time leaving Teddy, with anyone outside of family or friends, but it was immediately clear that Emily genuinely loves dogs and treats them like family. Teddy was so well cared for and was instantly happy and relaxed, settling comfortably from the first evening. Emily kept me updated with regular photos and messages, giving me total peace of mind whilst being away. I came home to a very happy and content dog and I couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, kind, loving and professional sitter. We had an absolutely fantastic experience! Emily was incredibly helpful and provided exceptional care for our dog, Honey. The daily updates were a lovely touch and much appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend Emily; she'll look after your dog wonderfully.
Emily is a top class dog sitter and boarder! She made us feel very at ease about leaving our rescue dog. She listened to his needs and asked lots of questions and his entire stay was even better than a 5 star resort! I got regular updates and pictures and our dog got on fabulously with hers. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a dog minder.
Milo has had a fantastic time with Emily , Alex and Carter. We received regular photos and updates and were very happy with the care he has received while staying. It was like home from home, thank you Emily 🐾🐶

Schedule
I work full time but from home every Monday and Thursday. Alex can pop home during the day but does work all week in the office. Carter goes to work with Alex on the days I am not at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom detached in a quiet cul-de-sac with plenty of room for exercise and play. There is just myself, Alex and Carter so our home is a calm and loving environment. We spend time on many walks to our neighbouring village and do this across public footpaths and fields. Our weekends are spent visiting beeches, parks or other dog friendly locations. We often visit Filey or York.
Pets
A typical day
On a Tuesday and Thursday I am home all day. I’m the only person at home so it is quiet and relaxed. The garden is accessible for the dogs all day. We go out for a 40 minute walk at lunchtime and have play breaks in the garden throughout the day. Weekends are usually spent on a dog friendly day out, walking, beach visits, parks, gardens, etc. Plenty of time for walks on a morning, lunchtime and evenings
