Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your pets as if they were your children, and follow guidelines that are set for them including how to feed them, how much exercise and attention they need, as well as regular photo check-ins so you know your pet is in good hands.
Information Emily K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how well a dog does with other animals and other people, that way I would know if it was okay to walk a dog in a more public or more private setting. I would also want to know the dogs age and any health concerns the dog has.
A typical day
I will take dogs on walks throughout neighborhoods and on trails in the local area, as long as they are able. I would love to play fetch and run around to get energy out. If the weather (or abilities) do not allow this, then we will play at home, and find enriching activities for them to do.

Pet care experience
I have been living around animals my entire life. From cats and dogs to horses and chickens, I have experience training, feeding, and grooming. I grew up training my own dogs (dalmatians, a beagle, and 2 American bulldogs) as well as a cat, rabbit, and some chickens. I have watched cats and dogs for neighbors and friends and consider animals my passion. I studied wildlife in college and was able to use the skills in animal handling and apply it to pets at home. I am patient and love working with all different breeds of dogs, as well as cats and other house pets. I love taking pets on walks, playing in the yard, and cuddling at home. I treat all animals as if they were my own. My fiance Collin often helps me with pet care for overnight bookings, and he is an animal whisperer! He loves cuddling and playing with dogs and is a great help in taking care of your pets.

Reviews

Emily was fantastic! She came through on short notice, which I truly appreciated. Her communication was excellent, and she provided detailed updates after every walk. I’ll definitely be having her back!

Emily is an amazing fur baby sitter. She sent daily pics and updates, and just from the photos, I could tell how at home Evie was. The most indicative of how Evie felt about the stay, was when I came to pick her up and Evie looked torn on whether to come or go. I take that as a great sign of Emily’s care. Will definitely ask her to sit again. Thank you Emily!

Emily did a great job house sitting for me and taking wonderful care of my pup definitely recommend she was very good and communications with the pictures and medicine!! Thank you again Emily for all your wonderful care of Gee.
