Hi there! I’m Emily, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years. What started as helping friends and neighbors has grown almost entirely through word of mouth, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust my clients continue to place in me. Many of the families I work with have been with me for years and regularly recommend me to others. I currently split my time betweenpet sitting and working as a Client Service Coordinator at a veterinary hospital, where I spend my day supporting pets and the people who love them. That experience has made me comfortable caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and routines while reinforcing the importance of clear communication and dependable care. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I know every animal is different. Whether your pet is full of energy, a little shy, or happiest sticking to a familiar routine, I take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe and comfortable. Before every new booking, I like to schedule a meet and greet so we can go over your pet’s routine, answer any questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable. While you’re away, you can expect regular updates, photos, and the peace of mind that your pet is being cared for as if they were my own.

I believe the best care starts with keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Before every new booking, I like to schedule a meet and greet so we can go over feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite activities, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable. While you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection based on their individual needs. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own; keeping things clean, secure, and following any instructions you’ve provided. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Anyone who knows me knows that my pets are SPOILED. I would sooner cancel a trip than kennel my dog. So I'm pretty fussy when it comes to dog sitters, too. I have found that a lot of sitters just spread themselves too thin in order to maximize income....taking on MULTIPLE jobs and spending very little quality time at any of them. Not the case with Emily....when she commits to a job, she devotes herself to that pet. She even contacted me while I was away to get my permission to take one of my fosters to the vet because of his cough!! I know that with Emily staying at my home and caring for my pets, I can travel completely worry free. She is a BLESSING!!!!

Nothing breaks our little puppy parent hearts like having to leave our sweet 10 month old Wheaten Terrier behind when we travel, but Emily put our minds completely at ease and made our hearts happy with all the time, love and attention she provided during out last trip out of town. She came over to meet us and our pup prior to our trip, and not only did she listen attentively while we ran through our two pages of instructions (crazy parent alert!), but she instantly connected with our dog. She asked excellent questions that made it clear that she wanted to take great care of our little girl. Throughout the stay at our house she kept in touch, happily and quickly responded to our check-ins, and sent lots of pictures of our obviously happy dog! We will absolutely be using her for our future in-home sitting needs and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet!
Emily is pleasant and polite, thorough, very professional and really LOVES dogs! She asked me more questions than I asked her during our 1st visit, and Gracie the dog was madly in love w all the attention.i was very comfortable leaving my dog and my house w Emily. Happy dog, happy house!!!
Emily has sat numerous times for both our children and our dog Skylar, when we are away.( numerous times) She is conscientious , loves animals, and the house is always in perfect order when we get back. Schedule
Pet care is something I intentionally build into my weekly schedule. I currently work part-time at a veterinary hospital, and with advance notice I’m able to arrange my schedule around bookings to give your pets the time and attention they deserve, making it a priority to keep their routine as consistent as possible. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.
