My love for animals really grew when I moved out to the country in upstate NY. Stray cats started coming up to the house for food and warmth. I complied with their requests. On walks and hikes, I’d at times find injured animals like birds, and baby kittens. I couldn’t leave them alone so I’d nurse them back to health, help wildlife rescuers and even was able to work a little with NYSDEC when finding injured wildlife. I started rescuing dogs and cats, making sure they were spayed, neutered, and vaccinated before finding them an home. While on vacation in Puerto Rico, I ended up bringing a stray dog home with me and she now lives in Boise as well. One of my favorite things to do is to talk walks on the greenbelt and around my neighborhood with my kids and my dogs. I would love to include your pup as on our family walks.
