With >11 years fostering dogs under my belt, it's safe to say I love ALL of the doggos. My specialty in animal rescue was shy, anxious, and elderly dogs. I adored my rescue dogs in all phases of their lives; I’m now owned by a golden retriever and her goofy sweet spirit makes me partial to the goldens ;) I've got oodles of experience with aging dogs, dementia, medical needs, shy & picky dogs, and end of life care but let’s hope none of that is needed and that I can give your furry friends a fun vacation, lots of cuddles, and caring stand-in until your home. Fetch in the yard? I've got your doggo covered. Cuddles? My pleasure. Let me know how best to support your dog while you're away! About me: I’m passionate about animals. My partner and I have a home in Greenwood with two pups of our own (an elderly rescue dog named Mona Lisa and a young Golden Retriever named Huckleberry). My partner may make an appearance as well (oceanographer by trade and lover of animals). I tailor my care to the unique needs of your pets. One sized does not fit all since no two pets are alike.

Emily is amazing! She’s always the first person on my list to check for availability when we need someone to take care of Sandy while we’re away. Emily takes great care of Sandy and our house. She’s very communicative and sends frequent updates. We’re always at ease while away knowing Sandy is safe and happy with Emily!

We use Emily for weekly walks and occasional overnight stays with our teenage golden retriever Lincoln, who can be a (lovable) handful. We had a really hard time finding someone we trusted with him, but we never worry when he’s with Emily. She clearly loves him and treats him like her own dog. What’s impressed us most is how much thought she puts into their time together. She works training into their walks, takes him to different spots around the area, and even mixes in play time with her own dog. He comes home happy and tired in the best way. She also sends detailed updates throughout, which means a lot when we’re away overnight. We can’t recommend her enough!
Emily took such great care of our quirky dog, Winston. He usually needs time to warm up once we leave but he quickly settled in, thanks to her patience and dog whispering skills. I appreciated her communication on the dog, the house and any updates or questions! We would definitely have Emily stay with Winston again!

Emily is amazing with our pups! This was our 5th or 6th time having her dog/house sit for us. Our dogs love having her over. Emily takes great care of them and gives us regular updates while staying with them so we have complete peace of mind they are well cared for while we’re away. Emily also leaves our house in great condition at the end of her stay which is always appreciated. I can’t recommend Emily enough!

Schedule
My weekdays are now wide open! I race sailboats in the evenings several days a week (summer) but my partner and I will ensure your furball has the level of care I’d hope for from my own dogs.
