Safety, trust & environment

I will ensure no food, small objects or anything that a dog mustn’t have is always out of reach. Will not feed the cat or dog out of the owners food plan. Will ensure to keep on lead on walks, unless they have been recall trained then I will be happy to let them off the lead in parks once we both build that trust with one another (me and the dog). Also shut doors behind me.

Information Emily J. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences at all, I love all breeds :) If he/she is a puppy I'd like to know if or not the dog is potty trained. If the dog has any allergies or an illness I should be aware of. How many meals a day do they eat/ how big is the potion. How many walks a day do they like, and how long for (maximum). Do they like other dogs? Do they like cats? Can they go off the lead on walks? None of these questions would influence or affect my decision for dog sitting, they're just factors that are important for myself to be aware of :-)

A typical day

A typical day with me starts with morning cuddles and a refreshing walk around NE5 to get the energy out. Throughout the day, your pup will enjoy active playtime with their favourite toys, balanced with quiet moments of affection and rest. For the crazier pups who need a bit of mental stimulation, I incorporate short, fun training sessions to keep them focused and well-behaved. On the weekends, we step things up with exciting outdoor adventures, exploring local parks and trails to give your dog the ultimate mini-holiday.

Pet care experience

Hi I'm Emily, I am the BIGGEST dog lover and overall animal lover you can imagine. Dogs make me the happiest ever and yes I'm that girl who stops and talks to every dog I pass in the street lol. I have grew up with lots of dogs in my family since I was born (I am now 29 years old), including my own family dog who was a Puggle called Max (he is in the two black and white pics provided). He was 13 years old and was the most cared for, happiest and spoilt dog ever. He has been my best friend growing up and he has the sweetest, most caring soul. Since losing our little max, we have a 1 year old cavapoo called Jasper and he is perfect. I spend a lot of time outdoors, I love going to the park and spend a huge amount of time exploring. I'd love to help you out so I also have a little friend to explore with me :) I’ve just moved back home to Newcastle after studying my university degree in London. Throughout my time in London I have spent 3-4 years dog sitting, dog boarding, house sitting, dog walking and have met some of the most amazing doggos ever. Broke my heart leaving them all behind but I would love to restart what I was doing here in Newcastle! I’m very flexible also. As I’m back living with family, I will only be open to house sits, dog sitting in their home, dog walks etc. I will ask about any allergies/ dietary requirements I need to be aware of as well as asking how much and how frequent they need fed. I work Monday to Friday but I drive so much more flexible now! Experienced with young and senior doggos

Emily looked after my little pride and joy over the weekend. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt at ease whilst I was away. Mochi absolutely loved her and so thankful I have found someone I can trust with him. Thank you Emily 💕

Emily came over and stayed in our house whilst I went away for a few nights, she made sure Winnie’s routine was the same and kept me posted with walks, pictures and just reassurance that Winnie was okay. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough!

Emily took great car of my greyhound, Abra. She kept me informed as to how Abra was, took great care of the house and Abra was happy and settled when I returned. I would definitely use Emily again and highly recommend.
