Hi, I'm Emily! I've been caring for animals for years and truly love getting to know new pets and their families. I currently have a beagle puppy named Ranger and a kitten named Rogue, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. My experience with pet care started long before Rover. In high school, I volunteered at a local humane society and regularly pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. For the past few years, I've continued pet sitting through Rover and have cared for pets in Washington, North Dakota, and now North Carolina. I've worked with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I know that every animal has unique needs, routines, and quirks. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion around, I'm committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and their fur babies, and I treat every pet in my care like one of my own. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets!

Schedule
While I work full time as a child care specialist I do have the flexibility to do early morning and late afternoon (after 6pm) drop-in visits. My weekends are completely free.

I have experience crating medium to large dogs and am able to handle any sized dog on leashes in public places in a safe way.

A typical day
I love taking max to the dog park and playing fetch, I love making lick mats for mental stimulation especially to use while inside the crate. I also love making puzzles or sniff Matt’s for max aside from his walks he gets tons of mental stimulation to keep him occupied!
