I shared my life with my cat, Theo, for 12 wonderful years, and during that time I learned just how intuitive, affectionate, and quietly special cats can be. Living with Theo taught me to respect a cat’s routine, personality, and boundaries — whether that means playful engagement, gentle companionship, or simply being a reassuring presence nearby. I offer a calm, cosy environment where cats can truly feel at ease. I understand how important familiarity and comfort are, and I take pride in creating a peaceful, home-from-home atmosphere — from quiet cuddle time to relaxed evenings curled up while I watch a series. I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting them in theirs. I know how important familiarity is for both cats and dogs, so I take time to understand their feeding schedule, walking needs, play preferences, and any little habits that help them feel safe and settled. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I always let the pet set the pace. For dogs, this means regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship, balanced with rest and downtime. I enjoy being outdoors, so walks are never rushed and are tailored to each dog’s energy level. For cats, I focus on maintaining a peaceful environment, respecting their space, and offering affection on their terms — whether that’s interactive play, quiet company, or a comforting presence nearby. In both my home and the owner’s home, I keep things clean, secure, and stress-free. I’m careful with doors, gardens, and feeding routines, and I treat every home with respect. Communication is important to me, so I’m always happy to provide updates and reassurance while owners are away. Above all, I aim to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

Emily has been fantastic from start to finish such a joy to deal with and nothing too much trouble for her.She looked after our big Labrador baby (because he is) when he came back I genuinely think he is missing her ha ha would highly recommend Emily and will be trying to arrange any future requirements.

Emily as a person is empathetic, energetic and loving. Working closely with her in her previous employment in the Royal Navy, it is easy for me to see all these key aspects about her and how she treats those around her with respect. With working in such a high paced environment, Emily is very well adapted to different situations and personalities, which I believe is a great life skill and not only that she is able to adopt that to each area in her life and without a doubt able to care for a pet with different needs, whether that be a calm, quiet environment; alternatively a stimulating environment. Emily herself has come from a home with pets growing up, I know she will love and care for the pets under her charge like they are her own.
I would absolutely recommend Emily as a pet sitter. She is responsible, caring and loving and your pet would definately be in safe hands. Regardless of whether your pet likes long walks or short potters and sofa snoozes, Emily will deliver. I'm sure your pet is a good judge of character, and have every confidence he/she would be very happy with Emily.
Emily is a wonderful caring person. She loves animals and would love to be a dog owner but being a pet caregiver is the next best thing. She enjoys the great outdoors and would love to share her walking with a furry friend. She is very caring and would make anyone's pet welcome in her own home.

Schedule
Monday to Wednesday, I’m out of the house during the day, but I’m very happy to offer evening drop-in visits and dog walks after 17:30 on Monday evenings. This works well for pets who need feeding, a toilet break, a walk, or some company and reassurance in the evening, without requiring overnight care. From occassional Thursdays and every Friday afternoon onwards, and throughout most weekends, I have much more flexibility and can offer longer stays, boarding, and unhurried care. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, quality time, and a relaxed routine. I’m always honest about availability and will only take on care that I know I can give properly, so owners can feel confident their pets are in safe, attentive hands.
Prices include all fees.
