A treat for you and your pet!
I have fostered with Wolf Trap Animal Rescue (WTAR) for a couple years now. Rescuing multiple pups, taking them to all of their vet appointments, and of course showing them what unconditional love and compassion truly is before finding the perfect home for them to spend the rest of their days! I have a proud number of 26 dogs I’ve done this for and still to this day can you tell each and every one of their names. In the midst of 2020's craziness, I found my own true love — Peaches! Who cannot wait to play and *nap/cuddle especially* with your little (or big) ones!!! I have a small fenced in yard for sun bathing and potty breaks (which are picked up after) and a great neighborhood to go for walks in! It is a 4 ft high fence, so your dog will never be outside alone. Always monitored (yep, talking to the jumpers). The yard is equipped with multiple water bowls and even a fun doggie pool we can bring out on the hot days! All animals are welcome on furniture inside, we do not discriminate against dog hair here. You reach a point where you just have to embrace it! Also shoutout to my Dyson vacuum, haha! Please let me know “the normal schedule” for your pup.. is he/she a sleepyhead who wants to be unbothered during her rest? Does she need approximately 83 belly rubs before we can start the day? Potty breaks in the middle of the night? Midnight snack? You name it. We can accompany it, we just have to know beforehand. I am more than open to meet & greets before any sleep overs or play dates! Just say when! Your pup will be spoiled and you will receive all of the pictures to prove for your peace of mind (I know how it is). Happy barking! I mean, booking!! We hope to see you soon! **Since I accept one family at a time, I have a strict 7 day beforehand cancellation policy. Anything cancelled within 7 days of the start of the stay, the full amount is required. Anything before 7 days, free cancellation. This gives me time to book another pup. Thank you for understanding!!**

Romeo had a great day with Emily and Peaches!! He was full of doggie smiles after getting home and very tired 😊 Emily was fantastic with Romeo, provided pictures for ease of mind, responded promptly to texts, and she went above and beyond by hand feeding him. Very very pleased and looking forward to Romeo’s next booking with her and Peaches.
Emily treated Hank like a little prince. She provided pictures throughout Hank’s stay showing him being pampered. It was great to know Hank was having a fun stay. Thank you Emily
My Hera loves Emily & her pup Peaches. Hera gets treat boards, lots of walks, snuggles, and activities. Emily continues training I do at home with Hera at daycare...such as auto sit at the street edge and wait for "cross" command before crossing the street. A happy Hera makes me a happy dog mama. 😀
Emily took excellent care of my dog Bella. She was so happy the whole time and Emily communicated with me regularly. Highly recommend Emily!
Gunnar appeared to once again love his time w Emily and Peaches.
Emily was fantastic! She took such great care of our Stella and kept us updated every day with pictures of how she was doing. We had to schedule pick up later than originally planned and Emily was more that accommodating and flexible with us when she didn’t have to be. She really went above and beyond. Anyone looking to have someone watch their fur child can definitely trust Emily will take the best care of them. 10 out 10 recommend!

Programa
I am home full time, so your babies have my full attention while staying with me! I love being outside, whether we’re sitting outside or going for walks or playing with the sprinkler — however with that being said and having a brachycephalic dog myself, I am more than trained on how to monitor the heat and overstimulation.

I live in a great neighborhood, with easy access to great walking paths! I love to hear about the “normal routines” that you may have at home with your dog, so I can replicate that to keep them comfortable as well as on schedule for you. I do allow pups on my couch and bed, but there are plenty of other options if that is not your thing! We have plenty of beds and toys and blankets, etc. to choose from, however I do always encourage bringing any favorites from home that you think they’d like to have while here, a part of their own “territory”.

I am always making homemade dog treats (if your babies have any allergies let me know please), I am a fan of “licking mats” for stimulation as well as “snuffle mats” to keep them interactive (look them up if you’re not familiar, they’re awesome)! We have a sprinkler and kiddie pool to bring out on the hot summer days for the pups! We have a great neighborhood for walks! And I’m always down for a sweet cuddle sesh!!
