Pet care experience
Your dog deserves a vacation too!
I started dog sitting for neighbors and family friends when I was younger and quickly fell in love with it. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—each one taught me something new about patience, play, and how to make a dog feel safe and happy while their person is away. Now I have my own 5-year-old dog, Jovi, and that experience has deepened my understanding of canine care even more—from managing daily routines and exercise to providing comfort during storms or new situations. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or visiting yours, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment tailored to each animal’s unique needs. In clients’ homes, I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, keeping up with playtime, or just offering some companionship while you’re away. I always make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for in their familiar space, and I leave your home just as I found it. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like one of my own. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and quiet time, depending on their personality. My home is pet-friendly, with space to play, relax, and feel secure. I’m always available for updates and photos, and I make it a priority to ensure every pet feels happy and stress-free during our time together.
Ratings and reviews
Emily is an animal lover. She is conscientious and caring, and she has a cat and a dog. Her animals are well taken care of and always well groomed. She has taken care of our cat, and we have cared for her dog. I would trust her with any fur babies!
Emily has watched my pets several times over the last few years. I have a clumber spaniel & a cat and she does a great job with both animals. I highly recommend.

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is relatively flexible! I can come morning, afternoon, or night (or all three). Weekdays and weekends work for me!

- Before caring for any pet, it’s really important for me to know their routine, personality, and any specific needs they have. That includes things like their feeding schedule, medical conditions or medications, energy level, how they do on walks, and how they react to new people, pets, or loud noises. I also like to know their favorite toys or activities, any behaviors you’re working on (like pulling on the leash or separation anxiety), and whether there are any off-limits areas in your home. The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
