WFH Dog Lover & Adventure Buddy
I’ve owned dogs my entire life and absolutely love having them around! 🐾 I currently work fully remotely from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. I have a huge garden with lots of space to explore and play, and I’m a big walker myself, so I’m always happy to have a four-legged companion join me on my walks. I also love photography, so there’s a very good chance you’ll receive some cute photos of your pup enjoying their little holiday with me! 📸🐶 I have plenty of experience with dogs of different breeds, personalities and backgrounds. I was involved with Seeing Eye/guide dogs for over 7 years and have also owned rescue dogs for more than 15 years, so I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m more than happy to follow whatever rules you have at home so that your dog’s routine stays consistent. Equally, if your pup is used to being on the sofa, sleeping on the bed or generally making themselves completely at home, that’s absolutely fine with me! I’m currently dog-free, which is actually one of the reasons I love dog sitting so much. I really miss having the company of dogs around and genuinely enjoy being able to give them a home-from-home while their owners are away. ❤️

I cannot say enough positive things about Emily’s magic with my dog Maisy. She has watched Maisy for multiple days on several occasions. Maisy is a sweet dog, but VERY reactive when on leash or confined to a car. Emily is alert to the first signs of Maisy’s craziness and is quick to divert her attention or otherwise calm her. She is also very communicative, sending texts and pictures and even put a video to music of Maisy demonstrating her affection through kisses! Emily follows instructions about Maisy’s eating patterns and takes the time to make sure Maisy gets the exercise that she needs. Maisy and I love Emily, and YOU will too.
We honestly couldn’t recommend her enough! Our dog Maple absolutely adores her, and that alone says everything. She takes such incredible care of our baby girl and treats her like she’s one of her own. We always feel completely at ease knowing Maple is in such loving, trustworthy hands, which makes going away so much easier. She’s caring, reliable and just genuinely amazing with her. Maple is always so excited to see her, and we love getting updates and knowing she’s happy, settled and being completely spoilt while we’re away! We absolutely love her to bits and she will always be our number one choice whenever we need someone to look after Maple. We wouldn’t trust our baby girl with anyone else!

Schedule
I work fully remotely from home, so pet care fits really naturally into my everyday routine. My schedule is flexible, meaning I can easily accommodate regular toilet breaks, feeding times, walks, playtime and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m naturally an early riser and love walking, so morning and evening walks are easy to build around your dog’s usual routine. I also have a large garden for regular outdoor breaks, play and exploring throughout the day. I play sports on two evenings a week and football on Sundays, so I’m occasionally out for around 2–2.5 hours at a time. If your dog is happy and comfortable in that environment, they’re also very welcome to come along and watch from the sidelines! Otherwise, I’ll make sure they’ve been walked, settled and comfortable before I leave. As I’m home for the vast majority of the day, your dog will have lots of company and I’m very happy to adapt my routine around what they’re used to at home. 🐾

I have a large, fully fenced garden, although the fence at the back isn’t particularly high, so dogs who are keen jumpers will always be closely supervised while outside. I’m happy to crate dogs where this is part of their normal routine, as I’ve owned and cared for crate-trained dogs before. I’m also very comfortable caring for dogs who need a little extra support, whether that’s with toilet training, medication or anxiety. I’m patient and happy to follow your routines, boundaries and instructions to make sure your dog feels safe, settled and at home with me. 🐾
