I owned a dog as a kid and have been dog sitting on and off for ten years. I’ve cared for a range of dogs from small and medium sized dogs, yorkies to pit bulls, older dogs with disabilities to younger dogs that need medication.

Emily is so good with dogs and easy to work with! She sent me daily photos, my pup came back happy and loved. My dog tends to be skittish with new people and she was super relaxed with Emily. Would highly recommend!

Emily is a truly caring person who will go the distance to take care of your pet. I have asked her to come and take care of my guinea pig and she was attentive and thoughtful each and every time. Thanks to Emily, my piglet was well fed, hydrated and given the right amount of treats. She tells me that she has even taken care of cats, even though she is allergic. You would be in good hands with Emily.

Schedule
I freelance from home, so my schedule can be easily moved around for any dog needs. I’m a natural early riser so early morning walks and feeds are very easy for me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a pretty open living room and kitchen space, which is more than enough space for medium sized and small dogs to run and play around. In the past, I’ve had dogs sleep on their beds in the living room or my bedroom and if permitted/ comfortable just in my bed with me.
A typical day
I enjoy going on long walks and live about 20 minutes away from prospect park. If permitted, I love taking dogs with me when running errands or out to dinner.

- Let me know if you have a nervous or skittish dog and I can adjust accordingly. I love cuddling on the couch or in bed on a lazy day with a dog, but have watched many dogs that prefer being left alone. I also live on a third floor walk-up so if your dog has any mobility issues, I’m happy to carry them down as well.
