Reassuring Presence
I’ve almost always had a dog and/or cat(s) in my home. I’ve been the primary caregiver for my current dog for over 8 years now. She is a highly anxious dog who has to have pills medication twice daily for years now. So I’m very comfortable with administering pills to dogs. I’m most familiar with anxious dogs and they almost always calm down relatively quickly to my gentle grounded nature. I enjoy seeing how happy a simple walk or hike can give a dog and love to give them many opportunities to do so. I have several years experience with pet/house sitting for neighbors and friends. My discipline style = positive reinforcement and gentle but firm reminders. Redirecting their attention typically works wonders.

Safety is my first priority so I take instructions from you very seriously. You let me know what the rules and constraints are for your home and fur-baby, I will follow them carefully. Tell me what your fur-baby needs and I’ll make sure it gets done.

Emily took great care of my dog while I was away for 7 days! She was very communicative and followed all directions. She left the house super clean too which is always appreciated. I would book her again and recommend her to a friend!
Emily has stayed at my home and taken care of my pets. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats. She had to feed, water, walk and play with them. We were gone fir 10 days while she took care of my pets and home. She would be great to take care of other people's pets.
