I have about a decade of hands-on experience working in professional dog daycare and boarding environments, where I managed group play, monitored behavior, and helped maintain safe, structured routines for dogs of all temperaments. My approach is rooted in Fear Free principles—prioritizing low-stress handling, body language awareness, and proactive behavior management. I’m especially comfortable working with anxious, reactive, or high-energy dogs, and I focus on preventing issues before they escalate rather than reacting after the fact. I also have experience supporting puppies with early routine-building and basic reinforcement, as well as providing patient, attentive care for senior dogs. I go beyond basic care. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and adjust my approach to support their comfort, confidence, and overall well being.

Safety and trust are my top priorities in every environment. In a client’s home, I follow your dog’s established routine as closely as possible to maintain consistency and reduce stress. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and environmental factors to ensure each visit stays calm, structured, and safe. I’m mindful of entry/exit safety (doors, leashes, surroundings) and always keep dogs securely managed during transitions and walks. I take a proactive approach to behavior—preventing issues before they escalate by managing space, triggers, and interactions carefully. I’m experienced in handling dogs with different temperaments and will always adjust my approach based on what your dog needs in the moment. If approved, I can offer carefully managed social interaction with my own dog for clients with dog-friendly pets. All introductions are done gradually and intentionally, with safety as the priority. I also provide consistent updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is not just being looked after, but genuinely understood and cared for.

Schedule
Pet care is currently a central part of my routine, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling and consistent availability throughout the week. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, and I’m able to accommodate a variety of schedules depending on your needs. I structure my day intentionally to ensure each pet receives focused, unrushed care. I also keep my schedule balanced so I’m not overbooked, which allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present during each visit. I prioritize consistency for pets, so I aim to keep repeat clients on a stable schedule whenever possible. Weekend availability is flexible, and I’m open to discussing ongoing or recurring care.

- To provide the best care possible, I like to understand each dog’s routine, temperament, and preferences ahead of time. This includes energy level, behavior around other dogs/people, any triggers or sensitivities, and what helps them feel most comfortable. Please let me know about any leash reactivity, anxiety, medical needs, or specific routines you’d like followed. The more I know upfront, the better I can tailor each visit to your dog’s needs. I also ask that all dogs have up-to-date vaccinations and are safe to handle in a one-on-one setting. Meet-and-greets are strongly encouraged to ensure a good fit and a smooth, low-stress experience for everyone. If your dog has specific behavioral challenges, I’m happy to discuss them in advance so we can set clear expectations and ensure I’m the right fit.
