Hi, my name is Emily and I recently completed the genetic counseling graduate program at UW. I have lots of free time on my hands while I study for boards and look for a full-time job. I’d love to spend some of it with your pets! In college, I was thinking of applying to vet school, so I have extensive experience with animals. I worked as a hospital assistant at a small animal practice for two summers, as well as at an emergency & specialty clinic in France for one summer. I am comfortable with caring for sick pets as well as those that need medication administered. In addition to taking care of my own pets, I have also pet sat a variety of different types of animals, including home visits and dog walking, since middle school (15+ years ago at this point). Additionally, I have experience with puppies and helped raise two litters of Bernese Mountain dog puppies from birth to 8 weeks in high school. I love all types of dogs and can't wait to meet yours!
