Pet loving, homeschooling mama
I am a registered nurse currently staying home during the week to homeschool my boys. I work limited weekend days, but my husband is always home on days I’m at work, so someone will still be here to love on and care for your furbabies. I love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust to care for your babies while you are away! I’d love to come do drop ins or watch your animals while you’re out of town and give you peace of mind that they’ll be well-cared for. I’ll happily provide you regular photos and updates if you wish. I’ve owned dogs, hamsters, and fish at various times through my life, but right now we have no animals of our own, so your pet will get my full attention! We do not have a fenced backyard, but can do frequent walks in our neighborhood and in our backyard. I have a comfortable crate that can be used for dogs who are crate trained at bedtime. I regularly dog-sit for my parents and in-laws while they are out of town and have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors.

Emily and her family were so accommodating, welcoming, and caring for our dog Madison. They were so attentive and caring for her and she was so happy and comfortable there. I will definitely be taking her back when we travel again. Emily was easy to reach, communicative, and sent lots of pictures with updates. Highly recommend!!

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets while you are away! I will treat your babies as if they were my own and happily update you with photos if you would like while you’re gone.
A typical day
The day will start with snuggles, breakfast and a walk (for pets that need walking). We have a large living room where we typically spend time in the mornings relaxing, and then we can go on a walk around the neighborhood or explore the backyard! If your dog loves to go in the car, I’m happy to take them on car rides occasionally if desired, or to the park to play! We love to give treats and have no problem with pets lounging on our couches.
