I am an animal lover who has taken care of my own as well as friends and families pets for years. My family has cared for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, snakes, frogs, geckos, chinchillas.

We visited Emily Hendrix with our small dog in 2024. We stayed overnight and walked our dog the next day across her quiet scenic property. Plenty of shady trees and blue sky.
So grateful to Emily for all her help. I wasn’t sure leaving my elderly dog would be a good idea but her love, compassion and attentiveness truly put me at ease. Not only could she manage Shelby who is partially def, but she was also able to care for our other dog, Oy, who is high energy. She welcomed them and loved as good as we could hope. I would absolutely recommend Emily any time and will be using her whenever the need arises.
Great with dogs and was attentive to their needs. Was able to follow feeding instructions, give daily walks and play time. The pup was always thrilled to see her.

I am a stay at home mom, so my time is very flexible. I am able to keep pets to their daily schedules and routines.

Safety, trust & environment
My property is ideal for a doggy vacay, we have a newly fenced in valley, a forest to explore, 2 dogs companions (can keep separate upon request), lots of squirrels to chase, and plenty to love to go around! I am able to provide an attentive home environment that a pet is used to.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs at my house usually enjoy outdoor time playing and hanging out, we do a lot of outside chores and activities. Napping and playing indoors in the AC is also a big pastime.
