I am a dedicated animal lover who understands the responsibility and true meaning of care with owning a pet! Growing up I had three dogs, multiple cats- one of which I still have now, guinea pigs, snakes, fish and a budgie called Bruce. My passion for animals led me to successfully achieve an animal management level 3 diploma in 2019. After working in retail for a few years, I soon found my feet 6 years ago at a local doggy daycare and boarding! I am now the general manager there and I absolutely love every aspect of it! I have great knowledge targeting dog and cat behaviours, needs and body languages. I'm used to feeding, administering medication, basic grooming such as teeth cleans, baths, brushing and nails. I am also trained in basic obedience training. I am very confident and widely experienced in dog walking- including up to 4 dogs at once. Alongside my career I have also house/ pet sit friends and family cats and dogs over the years and have found great joy in not only helping but providing a high level of care and love towards their fur babies.

I am used to following any instructions you give. Even happy to help train dogs, walk them, create enrichment activities for them. I ensure fresh water is down 24/7 and that they are fed- even if food needs defrosting. I’m happy to clean litter trays if needed, administer medication, put bins out, poo pick, tidy up after myself after I leave, anything you needed done. Working the job I do I am hot on safety- closing doors, door barging, choking, overheating etc

Emily clearly both loves dogs and knows how to interact well with them. She kept us well updated and liked after both our dog and home brilliantly for 2 weeks. It was fantastic to be able to relax knowing that things were in responsible hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and Emily will be our first port of call for any future needs.
Emily was really good with my two cheeky terriers.I felt reassured that they were in good hands and that she had the extra knowledge of behaviour of dogs.I came back to two very happy dogs and could see they were well looked after.Emily messaged me whilst I was away with updates.I will definitely use Emily again to look after my dogs.
Emily looked after my cat while I went away. She was very reliable, trustworthy and sent photos of the cat when she was with her. My cat is quite anxious and doesn’t like people she doesn’t know much but Emily managed this well and understood her needs.
Emily has looked after my dog Rolo on many occasions whilst I’ve been on holiday or needed a sitter, always sending updates and pictures of their daily activities putting my mind at ease whilst I was away, couldn’t recommend her enough! Absolutely fantastic service!
Emily is incredibly knowledgable about all breeds of dogs, she's super kind and caring with any dog she sees or cares for. She has over 6 years experience with dogs in the day care she works at, where she is the general manager so you can rest assured she really knows her stuff, plus her BCA studies with animal management. She is lovely and calm which the dogs absolutely love, when she's looked after my two dachsunds and cat she has sent loads of updates and I can tell how much they adore her. I never worry about them when she looks after them (they probably prefer her sometimes as she's really fun!) and I also know that she's very respectful of my house so the house is also well cared for when we are away. She's truly amazing and a proper diamond worth holding onto!

Schedule
I work full time as a manager at a dog daycare/ boarding. I do 9-5 Mon- Fri and more than happy to house/ pet sit during the week and weekend but I am unable to check in during the day, however I am able to work half days if needed.

- Please let me know any behaviour I need to be aware of, medical conditions etc. Separation anxiety, possession, aggression- on walks on lead/ off lead, food etc, barking, door barging, mouthing, jumping up. For dogs particularly- breeds to be aware of or rules/ commands on walks Any allergies your pet may have Habits or ‘unusual’ behaviour that is usual for your pet.
